(More customer reviews)I bought the Panasonic EP30007 after doing a lot of research. This is the best chair when one compares features. It does not have heating. I liked the fact that it is assembled in Japan (you only have to fit the armrest units and control pad) and that spares are readily available on the Panasonic website. I had problems with the supplier and when the chair arrived two side panels were cracked due to obvious transit damage. I contacted Panasonic and they were most helpful even though they did not agree to repair the damage which I held the seller responsible for. Back to the review. The chair is solidly built, very comfortable to sit in and looks the price. (It is not cheap but you can shop around for a better price, but as I have learned, you should make sure you deal with a reputable supplier and for your own benefit go for white glove delivery as it is a heavy chair to handle yourself.) It is covered in good quality imitation leather and I like the wood finish on the armrests. It is easy to control from the conveniently placed control panel that also provides voice prompts. Apart from the set programs you can also make up you own manual program. One reason why I purchased the chair is the automatic calibration feature as I am 6'2" and my wife 5'6". The chair calibrated the massage length of our backs correctly and we stored our programs in two of the four available memory options. We started on the deep massage program and my wife did not like it as she is very thin and claimed that it was uncomfortable, so for her we will have to look at a more suitable program. She could also not get her hands into the front position of the arm massage as she is quite short. Perhaps Panasonic should have considered an adjustable position for the armrest but I imagine not trying to positionher arms all the way in would suffice. The adjustable Otterman works well for both our lengths and the power recline feature is great. I prefer to have my massage in a semi recline position rather than fully reclined. The operation of the chair is quiet with only the sound of the airbags inflating/deflating. We are looking forward to getting more acquanted with the many features of this chair. Do take some time to study the supplied DVD first! The One year in-house service warranty and three year parts warranty is a plus and extended warranties are also available from Panasonic at a fair price. Buy this chair if you value quality and want a chair that will provide years of faithful service. This will endure long after you have forgotten what you paid for the chair.
