(More customer reviews)This mat looks soooooooo rich.Excellent quality wood.Very thick.I do not think this will be cracking any time soon :) Have been using for over a month now and I am very happy with it.No slipping on my carpet with the thick felt backing.Arrived rolled up in it's own custom zippered bag with handle. I do not have the special 'soft' casters (on my desk chair)for wood floors, but have not noticed any scratches from the 'hard' casters. The color is very dark, almost more of a walnut shade.I checked this out on lots of sites and Amazons price was the best by far.
