It took my hubbie 2 hrs to construct and some of the diagrams in the instructions were incorrect but with some common sence we got there. My son has not fallen out of it or come off the end, he did bang his head on the wooden end when it was hidden under his duvet while we were playing, so we now ensure we keep the wooden end clear of bedding and toys etc. The storeage is useful and is hinged so that it doesn't slam down shut onto his fingers. he gets in and out of it easy enough and it takes his standard mattress. Love it - had many compliments from friends - stunning
