Heavy stand that can hold a sizeable speaker and, due to weight and large base, can take a bump or two without tipping over. Very ascethic. Finish is excellent and adds to whatever room it may be in. Pieces all fit well and thanks to design it is possible to lead speaker wire from speaker through top of stand to base of stand thus hiding unsightly wire.

Two weaknesses though. One is that the base rests on four floor mounts that do not physically attach to the base instead (i.e., base screws go into them, they do not screw in). Hence if you need to move this the feet will move out. With spikes at bottom of base this may be a problem with respect to damaging floors, especially hardwood, if one is not careful. In addition there is no attachment included to mount speakers to top of stand. Thanks to these two weaknesses the product is rated a four star instead of a five.
