The seat is not as plush and comfortable as it looks, but it is wide and spacious and will accommodate any size person. The major problem is that this 90 pound set of chairs is packaged in an ineffective flimsy carboard carton. As long as you verify that all parts have been delivered to you---and not spilled, lost or damaged from the split opened carton---you should be happy with this reasonably easy to assemble purchase.
