Knitted Pillow Style Leatherette Swivel Glider Rocking Chair with Ottoman Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I am relatively happy with this chair, but this wasn't the perfect recliner that I had been hoping for.In the spirit of full disclosure:

- First of all, shipping was over $80 (to IL), so the price listed is a bit misleading.
- The cushions are comfortable, but thin and rather stiff.Don't expect to sink into soft, cushy, leatherette heaven when sitting down.
- Finally, and most importantly, the recliner does not recline particularly far.You won't get anywhere near horizontal on this chair. It's comfortable, but think "economy airline seat" with respect to the angle to which it reclines. This chair is primarily a rocker- and it performs exellently in this respect.

Negatives aside, it's a fine chair. It seems to be very solidly built. It ships fast and is a comfortable rocker. My pets fight to nap on it. I risked ordering the "plum" color, because I wanted a darker chair that would fit in with a dark brown decor. It turns out that the "plum" color is essentially dark brown- with no hint of purple or red- which was perfect for me.

If you are not bothered by any of the issues I described above, then it would certainly be a solid choice.

Stork Craft Tuscany Glider and Ottoman Review

(More customer reviews)It took my wife and I a lot of searching to find the glider that was right for us.With warnings about ordering online from Target due to the potential nightmare delays that they have, we opted to order through Amazon. We wanted to spend less than $200 and we were hoping for something that was great quality and looked nice too.I believe that we found everything we were looking for in the Stork Craft Tuscany Glider.Having something in Espresso was a must, and there are not too many gliders out there in Espresso in this price range. We paid $190 for it shipped.I also wasn't about to pay $50-$75 dollars in shipping. We live in California, and the product shipped from Washington State in about 3 days.Once shipped, it only took 4 days to get to us, which I think is pretty quick. The chair came with very simple instructions to follow, and all of the pieces and hardware fit nicely together.I was able to set it up while talking on the phone with my wife...which says a lot because I am a guy and have trouble multi-tasking.The quality of materials is very good, but it's not the most comfortable glider that I have tested. We use a small rectangular pillow that accents our babies' room while providing some needed lower back support. With the pillow there it's a very comfortable chair. We have not had a chance to test it with our baby yet, but so far we have been pleased with it.it comes with a high back for good head and neck support, as well as with 2 pockets for storage. The espresson finish on the wood matches perfectly with our espresson baby furniture. If you are looking for a great quality glider and don't have to have the absolute best one out there then this could be a perfect match for you.I believe it is the perfect combination of looks, quality, comfort and affordability that is out there. Thanks for reading.

Graco Avalon Glider and Ottoman Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I spent months searching for a new glider/ottoman combo for our new baby, because I wanted a quality chair for less than $200. Found it!

I trusted other reviewers who said this chair was comfortable and was especially sold by its larger dimensions. It took very little time to assemble and matches our other espresso furniture from another company. I plan to nurse in this chair and, at a heavy 9 months pregnant and 5'4", find the arms to be the perfect width and height for it! I can also firmly plant both feet on the ground, which was important. The height of the back of the chair could be a little taller like other chairs, but it is definitely supportive enough in the lower back and high enough for me to rest my head and sleep if necessary. The gliding mechanism is just as they say, very long and smooth- there's no wiggle room in it!

I am so glad I didn't throw away an extra 3 or 4 hundred dollars on another chair! This one is perfect!
