(More customer reviews)If you love Marimekko fabric designs, you'll likely quite enjoy this pillow-for-giants version of the iconic "Unikko" pattern. I'd give it 4-5 stars if not for the horribly lazy delivery -- it was left on an uncovered porch in a thundering rainstorm, and I'm still waiting to see if the "damp" smell will fade away. The fabric is a sturdy coated nylon (much like a messenger bag fabric), but the lounge bag was delivered in only the "fatboy" box (no outer packaging from amazon), and the lounge bag was slumped in the box without even a simple clear plastic bag or wrap around it. So basically, the lounge bag sat directly in soaked cardboard for several hours and came out smelling... not good.To be clear, the problem is not with the lounge bag but rather with the inadequate packaging and the incompetent delivery service. If you do order this item, try to make sure you're at home when it arrives!!

The Marimekko line of Fatboy bean bags come in two classic patterns, including Maija Isola's Unikko pattern. With its bold poppy design, the Unikko Fatboy attracts the eye, while the bean bag's extra-large size and plush seating invite the body to sit back and relax. The bean bag features a nylon cover with protective coating to resist stains and water. For a soft and supportive seat, virgin expanded polystyrene beads fill the bean bag. The Unikko-patterned Fatboy comes in red, blue, or black, as well as in a junior size for youth. To care for the bean bag, spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. The bean bag measures 70 inches long by 55 inches wide by 8 inches high.

(More customer reviews)I do not own a fatboy yet, but I plan to soon.My husband and I sat on them at an outdoor cafe in Munich.We LOVED them.Very stable, roomy, sturdy.I particularly like the tan/olive color.Seems harder to find.We think these will be perfect for our firepit.Want to learn more about their durability in the elements.

Fatboy The Original Bean Bag Review

(More customer reviews)I got the Fatboy for my office to relax for a quick after lunchnap or to be comfortable when reading a book or paper. Generally, I am very pleased with my purchase, the look is great, to color (dark grey), too; seems to be robust and durable, no complaints at all. Shipping/delivery was smooth, too. Came in a big cardboard box for protection and was (obviously) very light weight and easy to transport.

From the preview pictures, I did get the impression though, that the bag is bigger and filled with more 'beans', so you can actually sit at the same height like a regular office chair or at least a sofa. But is fairly low to the ground, which would be perfect, for a cosy home with carpet floor, and maybe more lounging and playing a video game or watching a movie.

So, my recommendation to you, make sure you get the right size, and if in doubt, go with the bigger one, I don't think the price is much higher.
