I want to start off by first saying that I do not want to sound overly critical of these chairs because I do love them, I just want to give everyone an honest review since I purchased these blind as I could not find a review anywhere on them (so hopefully people will find this review helpful in their decision making process).I have been looking at these chairs for many, many months now.Overstock had them for $169 a piece (yes a piece) and I came close to purchasing them then.I decided it was more than I wanted to pay for a parson chair with a slipcover.Later they were on Amazon.com for $269 for two chairs.I almost purchased them again, because what a deal compared to Overstock! But I am very glad I waited on both of these purchases.I think that these chairs are worth at the most $100 or so per chair, so the current price of $187.85 for two chairs on Amazon.com is a good deal, especially with the free shipping! (and each week Amazon.com seems to discount it more).I can't believe that these chairs originally retailed for about $250+ a piece!

Anyway, for the current price, I do love these chairs. They are smaller than I expected but I do not have a big, grand dining room, so it actually works better for me.They were packed for shipping fairly well, so all 6 chairs arrived in one piece. My only complaints are 1) two of the chairs had spots on the white canvas slipcovers (one spot was small and one not so small).I am going to try to get them out with some soap, but it isn't worth sending the chairs back just for that.I know white canvas will be hard to keep clean in a dining room! (I am going to Scotchguard them), but to start out with spots already on them is kind of a bummer; 2) the legs are kind of cheap.A couple chairs had legs that weren't stained consistently, but as long as I have long slipcovers on them, the non-stained parts of the legs will be covered; and 3) the slipcovers do NOT go down to the ground as they do in the pictures. All six of mine are about 2-3 inches off the ground so the legs do peek out. I think it looks more elegant to have them floor length, but that isn't the way the slipcovers come, so a bit of a bummer.Things I do like about the chairs: 1) the bows on the back are such a nice touch.Makes them unique and classy looking and I think very cute; 2)they are comfortable to sit in (though as I mentioned the chairs are smaller than I thought so if you have big hips, they might not all fit on the seats); 3) they seem to be sturdy chairs; 4) the price (you can't get basic parson chairs for under $100, so if the slipcovers get stained, I am hoping to just buy replacement slipcovers and be able to keep the chairs for a long time;5) once they ship, shipping is quick if you live on the West Coast. The chairs are in Reno, NV, so they arrived in Central California in only 2 days after Amazon shipped them. All in all, I really do love these chairs and for the price, I can put up with my complaints, but if I had paid a lot more for these chairs, I would have been disappointed.
