Strathwood St. Thomas Cast Aluminum Side Table with Ice Bucket Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I bought two of these to go with my chaises.I absolutley love them.As an interior designer, I am recommending this line to one of my best customers (that could afford almost anything!)I made one modification to the ice buckets - I drilled a few holes in the bottom so the water would drain.Since these tables have an open filigree design on the tops, when it rains, the buckets will get water in them.I will mostly use the buckets to store suntan oils, sunscreen and bug sprays unless I am entertaining. Then, I will wash them and put them in the freezer to chill them a while before using them as icebuckets. Pop in a few plastic frozen igloo bricks on the bottom, and the ice might actually last several hours! Another idea would be to use them as planters and place some pretty colorful rocks on the top of the soil. I do really love the tables.

Product Description:
Strathwood has broadened its handsome collection of cast-aluminum furniture with the St. Thomas ensemble. For celebrating outdoors, this small cast-aluminum side table is cleverly designed with a recessed stainless-steel container for holding ice. A bottle of white wine or Champagne inserted into the ice stays chilled even on a hot summer night. When no ice is needed, the 11-inch-diameter lid stays flush with the rest of the table surface. A round knob allows the lid to lift up easily for access to the ice bucket. Measuring 23-3/4 inches in diameter by 28-1/2 inches high, the low table is just the right size for tucking between two Strathwood cast-aluminum armchairs or chaise lounges. It weighs approximately 16-1/2 pounds.
Brightly polished and rust-proof, the stainless-steel ice bucket is 7 inches deep with a top diameter of 11 inches tapering to 9 inches at the bottom. It hangs by its wide rim and removes for cleaning. To keep a flute of bubbly from toppling over on the table, screw-on glides underneath the table legs allow some leeway in adjusting for uneven surfaces. The top surface of the table is beautifully designed with an ornamental scrolling vine motif in a dark-brown finish with bronze highlights and silver flecks. Its open scroll design provides a smooth, even surface so dishes won't tilt off balance, and allows rain water to fall through and dry out. The all-weather, easy-care St. Thomas furniture is made from the highest grade of aluminum. Pieces are sand casted, covered in a powder-coat finish, and designed to be rust-free. Some easy assembly is required on arrival.
Strathwood furniture has quality, ease of use, and casual elegance at its core. Each piece is rigorously tested for durability, and assembly instructions have been standardized for simplicity from start to finish. Strathwood furniture is sleekly designed, handsomely finished, and built to last. This classic style and reliable craftsmanship will weather ever-changing trends and regular use for years to come.

All - weather Wicker - look Love Seat Glider Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Product is exactly as advertised. It came promptly in a huge box, but was fully assembled and well packed within. It took longer to dispose of the box than it did to set up the glider, although every inch of the frame was wrapped in protective plastic wrapping. I did not pay really close attention to the dimensions before I ordered. I would have preferred a somewhat higher back. By the time I put a cushion on it, the top of the back hits me in an uncomfortable place in my back. Overall a good product that appears to be substantial.

Strathwood Camano All-Weather Wicker Sectional Sofa Seat Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I purchased right, left and center pieces for the set.I found out that the left and right piece is identical (you could rotate 90 degree to make it either way). Therefore, you can purchase 2 left or 2 right and saved you $$$ when the price is not the same.I saved $40 by complaining to amazon when I found out this (because one of the other side was $40 less).
It is a good looking set of outdoor furniture.Nice quality and comfort. However, I wish the seat is slightly higher, kinda low for me.

Product Description:
The Strathwood Camano collection features handsome wicker furniture with superb weather resistance and maintenance-free care, making it ideal for outdoor use. Smartly designed and built to last, this Strathwood resin wicker sectional end chair offers classic style to weather ever-changing trends and reliable craftsmanship. This left-sided chair features the mid-sized, mocha-hued wicker weave of the Camano outdoor furniture line, which also includes center and right-sided sectional pieces.
The tightly woven wicker strands are made from durable polyethylene (PE) resin, which is designed to withstand fading, weathering, and aging within a temperature range of -70C (-94F) to 80C (176F) degrees. The washable wicker strands have a powder-coated finish with a modest sheen that easily sheds drizzle and accidental drips, and its looks will remain unchanged for three years under normal usage. No assembly required.
This square-shaped end chair combines with the other pieces from this sectional collection to create a loungey atmosphere. All-weather, cherry-hued block-wood legs (with a five-inch clearance) and a weatherproof aluminum frame underneath provide increased durability while making the seat impervious to sun and rain. This end seat measures 31-3/4 inches wide by 31-3/4 inches deep by 30 inches high and weighs 35.94 pounds including cushion.
The natural-hued, comfortably firm cushion measures 26-1/2 inches square and has a zippered closure, allowing you to remove the interior polyurethane foam for cleaning. The cushion is not weather treated, and should be brought inside during inclement weather. It can be spot cleaned with warm water and mild detergent.
The term "wicker" doesn't refer to a particular material, but a style of construction that weaves together stiff strands of fibers such as rattan, willow, and bamboo. Woven furniture has been around since ancient Egypt, but wicker is believed to have been given its name in Scandinavia--with wika meaning to bend and vikker meaning willow in Swedish. Wicker was first popularized in America in the 1850s, and was used extensively in the Arts and Crafts movement at the turn of the 20th century.
Cushion Care and Cleaning: Gently brush off dirt before it becomes embedded in the fabric and wipe up any spills as soon as they occur. Gently spot clean only with mild soap and cool water using a sponge or soft brush, then air dry cushions in a sunny location. Bring cushions indoors during inclement weather and store in a dry place when not in use.
Please note that upholstered items purchased on different occasions over time may have a slight variation in hue. There is the potential for variation in the hue of any fabric, depending upon the light source in which it is viewed. For outdoor fabrics, sunlight is the source textile manufacturers use to verify hue accuracy. In addition, a slight variation in hue is normally expected between rolls of like fabric, since no two can be produced to come out exactly the same.
