The freight company called early and were pleasant to speak with and they were helpful by giving me the ability to leave a note authorizing them to leave the package on the doorstep. The package came as a single box with three wooden pallets all shrink wrapped together for maximum protection. The directions are a little vague (1 sheet) but it is only four pieces of wood to assemble. The desk seems to be built pretty good, heavy wood.

You will definitely need 2 people to assembly.

(More customer reviews)This item looks good when assembled and the size works very well for small spaces. Just be careful when assembling it. The sliding drawer alignments can be a little tricky. One concern I have is the plastic pieces used to connect the two front pieces to the top piece. They are weak and can break under too much force. Metal connection pieces should have been used. Just be careful when assembling these pieces. The assembly time is longer than that mentioned in the directions, but it still did not take that long to do. A power screw driver would be very helpful, but is not necessary. Overall, I am happy with this item. It looks good and does the job.

(More customer reviews)This table and chairs is worth every penny. Not only does it fit in a small space but it is very sturdy and easy to assemble. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars is because the chairs need a lot of man power on a manual screw driver unless you use a machine screw driver then it's a lot easier. But the three piece dining set is beautiful. And I am glad i purchased it. It is very light in weight but sturdy enough to hold over 300 lbs. per chair. The only other problem is that it is hard to unravel the items out of the package because they package it so much and so tight.

The problem is with the assembly due to the manufacturing quality.The milling on the doors isn't accurate (i.e. deep enough) for the hinges, so you have to wrestle with the doors to get them in place. The second problem is that the screws for the knobs are an eighth of an inch too short. BTW the rest of the assembly was pretty straight forward, but it would help to have another person to hold the pieces together.

(More customer reviews)The Sumo Omni seems to be made of durable material and is a comfortable item. However, the photographs used in all of the company's examples are a little misleading. For one thing, the girl in the photos is very petite. The average person is not going to be sitting on it in the way she is, because the average person is not five feet tall.

The other issue is that in all of the examples, they are clearly double-stuffing the bean bag. To achieve a lot of the configured positions shown in examples, you would need to spend another fifty bucks to buy additional Sumo "beans" to fill the bag with. The amount of beans or stuffing that comes by default is just enough so that if you hold the bag up on its end and shook it a whole bunch, the beans would reach about a foot or so high.

In conclusion, this is a solid product and probably the best of breed for the price. However, if you're an averaged sized adult you are going to want the spring for the extra stuffing, which will raise the price significantly.
