(More customer reviews)This item looks good when assembled and the size works very well for small spaces. Just be careful when assembling it. The sliding drawer alignments can be a little tricky. One concern I have is the plastic pieces used to connect the two front pieces to the top piece. They are weak and can break under too much force. Metal connection pieces should have been used. Just be careful when assembling these pieces. The assembly time is longer than that mentioned in the directions, but it still did not take that long to do. A power screw driver would be very helpful, but is not necessary. Overall, I am happy with this item. It looks good and does the job.

(More customer reviews)Okay, so you get what you pay for.The lamp works, the shade is acceptable, although cheaply made (the seam is very noticeable), and the base is ugly as a red-headed step child.Not even close to being the color of teak...sort of a muddy espresso brown.
It still provides the ambient light we wanted, so we kept it but hid it behind a big plant!

(More customer reviews)I purchased a table from a well recognized furnishing store (initials PB) and these chairs are almost identical to the upholstered chairs they sell with the table.. but much cheaper. I'm saving over $1200 going with these alternative chairs since I needed eight chairs (four sets). Very easy to assemble (just have to connect front chair legs to seat and seat to chair back)... I put these together with out any help from my husband. The only thing to be aware of is the picture above is a little different from the actual chair I received. The seat bottom is an upholstered tan microsuede and the chair seat does not have a 'weathered style' on the sides. I contacted Vision Decor re: this after opening the box and they were very prompt in returning my message, asked for a photo of the seat I received, and after researching informed me the manufacturer changed the seat without notifying them. Vision Decor offered to give me a complete refund if I wanted to return the chairs but I turned their offer down since the chairs are nice how they are and if I want to change the fabric I can have them re-upholstered and still save 50% of what I would have paid at the other store.The chairs are very sturdy (unlike some alternatives I've seen @ other stores) and comfortable.. plus you can't beat the savings!

(More customer reviews)I was afraid this would be too flimsy for real use, but was pleased that it is sturdy, puts together fairly easily, and the hidden storage is a nice bonus (I keep table decor & tablecloths in mine). One thing they could improve on in design, tho~ cut the upright, or end, pieces to be level with seat.In the corner unit, the protrusions are impossible to sit on, and not everyone may wish to add seat cushions. Also the cut-outs for baseboards don't fit older higher baseboards.
They may also want to make add-on units; I had to buy two complete booths for parts for a longer wall section, wasting a corner section. All in all, good price, good durability.

(More customer reviews)I received this table in multiple boxes, on multiple days, it was a beast to assemble. A drill is needed for this table aside from what the instructions suggest. This table blemishes easy, anything warm or cold will leave a mark.
Other than that the table is beautiful. So if someone is considering this for looks, wonderful contemporary piece, but if you are seeking something for everyday use, this is not the table for you. I wish that I could get another top to the table & I have only had it for about 3 months.

There are a few reasons for the 3 stars...they are packaged so horribly that if they are being shipped any distance by UPS, the boxes will arrive in bad shape. We had 1 chair that was damaged and had to be sent back. We had another chair where the manufacturer had put tape on the legs (leaving a sticky residue that we had to scrub off) and another that had some problem with the seat padding that made me sink in the chair. Amazon replaced 2 of these chairs without a problem, but a bit more hassle than we should have had for this price.

(More customer reviews)When I got the chair the package looked like it had been through a warzone, which is probably why this ~$800 chair is being sold for ~$300. Amazingly enough, the chair itself was completely undamaged and nothing was missing.

This is a pretty comfortable chair, though there are a few things that bother me. I wish it offered more support when in a forward posture; when leaning forward to do work I can't feel the back of the chair, it's almost like I'm on a stool. When I lean back slightly against the back of the chair to try and get more comfortable, the whole seat tilts back 5-10 degrees even though it's locked in the upright position, which puts me too far away from my desk. If it weren't for that tilt (and maybe if the back could be bent slightly forward) I think it'd be prefect.
The other problem is the arm rests are too short. They have 2 positions, down and up, and the up position is at least 3 inches too short for me to rest my arms on them (I'm a big guy).

The chair is really nice when reclined backward. I just bought a 3M Easy Adjust Notebook Arm - Desk Mount and plan to set it up so that I can work while reclined in the chair.
